I asked the shop & the reply was that they could buy the serial numbers or product key and put it to the Windows 10 Pro and the Windows would become genuine. & does not have the serial numbers (the 25 digit letters and numbers) or the product key. It does not update & does not indicate whether 64b. The repair shop installed a Windows 10 Pro. The OEM installed OS on my Acer T3-715 was Windows 10 Home 64b. Changing of the motherboard can make it look like a new computer to the Microsoft licensing.Thank you. Usually one can change some parts without issue such as the boot/system drive and memory.

The install of Windows 8/8.1/10/11 should pick that up and activate with a Digital License once on the Internet. OEM/Branded computers didn't really come with a Product Key but had the data embedded in the motherboard, probably in the BIOS stored on the CMOS. If the Product Key is genuine Windows should be okay.
